What is personal data?
Personal
data refers to information that can be allocated to your identity. This
includes for example your name, address, telephone number and email address.
How
does TestMag protect your personal data?
Your
personal data is transmitted over the Internet during the ordering process and
within your customer account in encrypted form using the SSL protocol (Secure
Sockets Layer, key exchange: RSA 1024 bit; encryption of user data: Triple DES
1024 bit). You can recognise a secure connection from the way the address is
shown in the browser, it starts with "https://..." instead of
"http://..." and a padlock appears at the bottom right of the window.
We secure our website and other systems by technical and organisational
measures against the loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination
of your data by unauthorized persons.
Access
to your customer account is only possible after entering your personal
password. You should always keep your access codes confidential and close the
browser window or mobile applications after finishing your communication with
us, especially if you are sharing the computer or mobile end-user device with
others.
When
does TestMag use or process personal data?
We
realise that it is very important to you to ensure that your personal data is
treated with care. Because data protection takes high priority at TestMag, we
comply strictly with the legal regulations when gathering, processing and using
data. On principal you are able to use our Internet site and our mobile
applications without leaving behind any personal data.
Your
personal data as well as any details that you provide to us are used by TestMag
for the purpose of processing the orders, delivering goods, and processing
payments. We also need your data to inform you about your orders and the
products, services and special offers of TestMag.
What
does TestMag do with the personal data?
This
personal data (e.g. address, other details obtained from you) is primarily
stored in our IT system to allow optimum order processing and customer support.
We
collect and use probability values to calculate which data, such as address
info, is utilised, for the purpose of deciding on the grounds for execution or
termination of the contract.
To
send out information material and for our own advertising purposes, your data
are only circulated internally or to TestMag companies. No dissemination to
third parties takes place, with the exception of service providers who act on
our behalf. If you agree to the use of your personal data for the purpose of
sending our free newsletter and for providing you with information about
special offers and new items, please indicate your consent to this during your
registration. We point out here that you can withdraw your consent at any time
in future.
We
save the text of the contract and send you the order data by email. You can
view the GTC at any time. You can see your past orders in our customer login
area.
